# 2D heterojunction NDR mechanism and evidence map

## Scope

This v104 packet teaches how rectification, a declining current segment, stable consecutive NDR, peak/valley prominence, sweep history, series/contact burden, broadening, and mechanism evidence must remain separate.

## Execution

- 6144 deterministic rows across 384 curves and 192 matched forward/reverse pairs.
- Complete 16 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 Cartesian product.
- Browser-side filtering of a saved CSV only.
- Original dimensionless equations and coefficients only.
- Zero DOS integration, DFT, NEGF, TCAD, compact-model fitting, SPICE, measurement, or live server runs.

## NDR rule

The positive branch must contain at least 2 consecutive finite-difference segments below -0.035 and at least 8% within-packet peak/valley prominence. A single falling segment is not stable NDR. Rectification is computed separately and never substituted for the slope rule.

## Mechanism boundary

The overlap-window equation is a pedagogical shape generator. It is not a density-of-states product, Fermi integral, transfer-Hamiltonian model, Lorentzian spectral calculation, NEGF result, or fit to a published device. Even a stable synthetic NDR shape leaves multiple transport hypotheses plausible.

## Replacement evidence

A real claim needs owned forward/reverse I-V sweeps across gate and temperature, declared sweep rate and dwell, repeatability and drift, contact and series de-embedding, uncertainty, material/stack provenance, independently reproduced transport calculations, mechanism discrimination, and accountable review.
