PROJECTS

Ship a small proof.
Make it reviewable.

Tiny Tapeout and open silicon communities show why public artifacts matter. SemiAgora projects should start smaller: one reproduced lab, one evidence card, one original figure, or one role-aligned portfolio note.

PROJECT PATHS

Artifacts that can survive review.

The project layer should connect education, career, and research-service demand. The output is not a vague certificate; it is a small technical object with traceable conditions.

students and job seekers

Reproduce One Lab

A short public note with conditions, result table, limitation, and source links.

graduate researchers

Build a Simulation Card

A claim-to-run card that makes parameters, versions, and failure modes explicit.

paper and poster authors

Draw an Original Figure

An original mechanism or graphical abstract concept with source notes.

Open source route ->
career changers

Read a Workforce Map

A role, skill, lab, and portfolio artifact map.

Open source route ->
readers and future sponsors

Publish a Weekly Digest

A link-only briefing based on official feeds and manual review.

Open source route ->
physical design, digital implementation, and SRAM peripheral learners

OpenROAD Starter Flow

A rights-clean report-parser package with tiny RTL seeds, sample QoR reports, CSV parser checks, and source-boundary notes.

GITHUB REPRODUCTION PACKAGE

Public artifact first, repository second.

Open silicon benchmarks work because the artifact is inspectable. SemiAgora now has a public package checklist so the first repository can be released without leaking restricted inputs or overclaiming results.

WHAT GETS REVIEWED

Condition, result, limitation, source.

A portfolio project should show what was run, why the metric was chosen, what failed, and what cannot be claimed. That is the same standard used for SemiAgora research pages.
